I 've eaten early breakfast on a few occasions here. Mainly because it is at this time I am able to avoid the long queues. If you are lucky, the Villa located strategically lends a tremendous view of the La Jolla cliffs and ocean. The quarters are tight but food is good. I 've eaten the coast toast which is simply delicious. Another item to be devoured on the breakfast menu is corn beef hash and basted eggs . The bre... View all feedback.
What Makenzie Corkery doesn't like about Brockton Villa:
Four of us had lunch here. The view is fantastic from the balcony. The chowder and salmon sandwich was good. I ordered a burger, medium doneness. It came out VERY rare. I sent it back. All the cook did was take my original burger throw it on the grill until it was well done and very dry. They should have given me a new burger cooked medium. Obviously the cook was not happy I sent it back. The service was terrible. On... View all feedback.
We have often come to La Jolla Cover, but never had the chance to taste this restaurant. Since we had friends from outside the city, we want to experience them Southern California food with a sea view. In addition to the spectacular views, we had a good service from our waiter. Although we had no reservation, we were immediately accommodated with a good view of the sea. The server immediately took our orders for drinks and led us to their favorite food. I was worried about bad Yelp reviews on the food. But we have some delicious selection. The soufflé French toast was so fluffy and sweet, which was one of my favorites. The cheeky Burrito was also very delicious. The fillings were so tasteful. Another good dish here is the Burger. My friend got the burger and he loved him for his taste and texture on the flesh. Despite the expensive area of San Diego, food prices were quite reasonable. The average price for each dish is about $12-$15. Overall, it was a good experience for us and our friends. After a great trip at one of the most beautiful sights in San Diego, it is refreshing to eat something with a view and charged.
Very nice location next to the beach. The service was not really slow, but also not fast, something in between, but friendly. I had an avocado toast and some scrambled eggs with potatoes, feta cheese and vegetables, namely spinach, tomatoes and wild mushrooms. The food was good in taste, but could have been seasoned a little more. But that's just my own opinion. I would visit this place again for breakfast.
A must!... Their unique muted egg bowls and their signature French toast alone are enough reason to go and have brunch there. The service, the location, the views are impeccable. If you're a local, you know I'm right. If you are a visitor, try it and I bet you will find it on your list of places to come back and recommend friends
Oceanside food with outdoor heating, which is a California Mexican fusion style food. The menu features a variety of brunch options from omelets to French toast to tacos served all day. With a great lunch menu, Lachs BLT serves to Burritos to large salads. There is really no room to go wrong here with the menu. Excellent service and fast delivery of food. Come on!
Great view of La Jolla Cove. Second time here and consistently good. We got the breakfast tacos and burrito as well as the coast toast. The coast toast is the definitely the highlight which pairs amazingly with the house jam. Burrito is also quite good, just lacks some good sauce to go with it. Tacos do include a good sauce but overall both are great savory breakfast options. If you’re more into sweet we definitely recommend the coast toast. Don’t forget that delicious jam. Staff is friendly and always attentive to our needs. Definitely will continue visiting this spot. If you’re in the area definitely worth checking out.
