The calamari strips came cold and greasy, as though the oil wasn’t hot enough when frying. The service was exceedingly slow and we felt unattended. Although the server did apologize. One of our party appeared disappointed with his crab stuffed shrimp. I didn’t ask why. The rest of the dishes were as we know expected. We have a long relationship with this restaurant chain. So we are well familiar with the quality of food and service. We were a bit disappointed this visit.
We vacation in San Diego every year at this time. Make it a point to dine here. Very good service and food.

Wonderful restaurant, everything impeccable. High quality service, beautiful and pleasant place. Suggestion order the starter of Octopus and for dessert the Creme Brullé you will not regret it????!
Had a wonderful experience at the Brigantine on Shelter Island. Even though it was a packed house on a Saturday evening, our server Rita was top notch. Ordered the lobster tacos and a surf turf plate. Both were cooked perfectly. Plates were removedafter each course, not pilling up like some let happen. A most excellent anniversary dinner, thank you Brigantine!
