St.Charles St. It IS on Main St., just off of W St. Charles St. It's in a historic building. Third, if you read previous reviews they were from the previous owners/management. The server told us the restaurant had been closed for awhile just reopened last July. When you enter, the historic, full-bar is to your right in a separate room the dining room to the left. The atmosphere is fine dining, but people were there in shorts jeans. We were there on a Wed night business was slow. The server said it picks up on the weekends. The menu was not extensive--only 1 page.The most expensive item was $22. The food was absolutely delicious and the service perfect. We had chicken parmigana veal marsala. My husband's salad was very crisp fresh, with a great (in his opinion) bleu cheese dressing. My beef barley soup with beans was some of the best I've had--rich in flavor with the perfect blend of seasonings. We were too full for dessert didn't order from the bar as we would be driving after dinner, so can't comment on those..San Andreas is a small Gold Rush town we didn't see many other places to eat as we drove through. We hope that they will stay in business we'll definitely be back, driving the hour from our home just to eat there!

I'm somewhat selective when it comes to my meals, but I enjoyed my food so much that I ended up having two helpings. The garlic French fries were incredibly tasty. The staff were exceptionally friendly, too. I definitely intend to go back; we had a fantastic experience.
