We stupidly did not realise that during the half term holidays we would need to book a somewhere in advance to go out for dinner for our son's birthday, fortunately i found this place the day before his birthday and it was perfect as i...have never known a child who eats as much cheese as mine does! We were lucky that we did book even just a day in advance as others were being turned away when we arrive. We have a GF person in our family and were lucky that there was an option for her. We will return if we are ever able to travel again!
Booked the night before, for an early dinner. Warm welcome and good local food. Savoyard cooking, simple, tasty and good value. Relaxed attitude to the credit card transmitter not working! Great tasty local digestif!
Excellent restaurant in centre of Samoens Lovely atmosphere, all the staff were very friendly attentive. Christophe the owner made us very welcome Whilst the menu is not extensive there is a varied range of very tasty traditional Savoie dishes. Good selection of local wines...as well Excellent value
We reserved a table based on reviews. Lovely welcome. Reservation confirmed by text. However the menu is extremely limited in choice. When our dishes arrived the food was lovely however and the children enjoyed their steaks. Enjoyed it but we wouldn’t come again. Hosting staff...were fabulous.
We visited Mazzanine as a party of 8 and was served a supperb dinner where we all shared different varities of fondue. Food was excellent, and the atmosphere was really genuine with friendly staff that made us feel so welcome. Make sure to make a...reservation as this is a (well deserved) popular place.
