The place is very small with 3 tables inside and several more outside. We went there hungry after a day of wandering the streets of Salzburg and were not disappointed.The kids and wife built their own wok dishes which were very good, prepped on spot (you can watch for yourself) from fresh ingredients. I had a very nice chicken poh. The food was ready in 10 minutes for all of us. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Uncle Van:
It is cheap and the food is good, but the service is just terrible. We waited almost one hour, 30 minutes only to get something to drink, the waiter didn't bring us the glasses. When I asked for the glasses he brought only 2 for 3 persons, so i had to ask again. we asked to take away some food that one of us didn't finish didn't eat and they gave me one box without a bag, so we had to pack it by ourself. Good en fast service in a cozy setting. The best food in town. In specific the curry was great and combined with a cold served Chang or Saigon beer the meal was marvelous!
May be a bit confusing at first and service staff can’t speak English well.. we came twice actually. Once, pack to go. Second time, we decided to eat in. Pho is worth trying, it’s like their signature Vietnamese food. Then we ordered beef rice noodles...soup and turns out not the typical soup i expect.. but refreshing with lots cut veg though. Dry Ready made chicken noodles was yummy and tasty. They used basmati rice for their rice dishes
