Great good but really bad service. The servers were not very professional. I think it is overpriced for the service you receive. (Traducido por Google) Muy buen servicio pero realmente malo. Los servidores no eran muy profesionales. Creo que es demasiado caro para el servicio que recibes.

We were excited about KYU. It is a beautiful restaurant in Polanco. We had an assortment of dishes, starting with the Scallops with Truffles, which was an amazing Dish, truly memorable, the only problem with it was that there were only 2 pieces, and we would have eaten 10 probably! Next for Apps were the Udon Soup, which did not have Udon noodles but Lo Mein or spaghetti noodles and was rich and Fatty which I had never tried in an Udon Soup, but the soup was very good and would definitely repeat. Third App was the Gyozas, which were very good however the Ponzu style dressing was a bit on the sour side. For the main dishes we had the BBQ Ribs, which the sauce was amazing, sweet, tangy, had everything right, but the ribs were overcooked and clearly left over from days past. We each only had one rib to try, and although the sauce saved for the most part the dish, it did not make up for the ribs being overcooked and dry. We did mention this to the manager, which we were charged in full for the dish anyway which was disappointing. Second main entree was the Korean Fried Chicken, which was very good, crispy, the breast was overcooked which easily happens but would absolutely order again. Third was the Avocado toast with Burrata, not a traditional choice for an Asian restaurant, but they did a good job, using an Asian style vinaigrette and was tasty. Deserts we had two: the S'Mores Cake which was delicious and creative, and the Sweet Nest Pie which was also very good. Note that the desserts are very large, larger than most of the entrees, and should be shared with 2-4 people. Service was good but could have been better. Overall, we liked KYU and would return.
