I booked this hotel for a family trip and we reserved two rooms that were connecting. I also paid to have breakfast every morning. I booked through the hotel website and then emailed reception my reservation information because I wanted to make the rooms were connecting. You can pay in advance or pay after you check out of the hotel. When we arrived we just had to put a deposit down for the two rooms which I knew about ahead of time. The rooms were clean, spacious, and provided us with water bottles and all the extras (soap, shampoo, body lotion etc. The hotel is in a great location. Across the street there was a Starbucks, pharmacy, and tons of restaurants. Highly recommend checking out La Esquina del Pibe. We ate there twice and it was delicious. We were also a 10 min walk away from el Zocalo which we would walk to at night. Overall, an ideal location if it’s your first time in Mexico City. The staff were super helpful and gave us great tips. Every morning our rooms were cleaned. We also arranged a tour through the hotel to Teotihuacan pyramids which included stops at the basílica de La Virgen de Guadalupe, and local artisan businesses. They picked us up from the hotel and the guides were great. We loved the hotel. Highly recommend especially if you’re a family or traveling to Mexico City for the first time. My one note is that the breakfast could be better or offer more options. Also if you go down at the tale end of breakfast then options like pancakes or waffles will be cold. But overall we had a wonderful experience and will rebook whenever we’re back in Mexico.
