We were looking for a non-chain restaurant and I'm so glad we did... read more My mom and I stopped here for lunch yesterday on the way from Folly Beach SC back to Kentucky. We were looking for a non-chain restaurant and I'm so glad we did! Mom had eggs, toast, and cheese grits. I had the enchilada soup, green salad, and cornbread. We had a side of watermelon and strawberries. As we were eating, our hostess brought out a hot slice of Amish pie for each of us. Everything was very good, particularly the produce and soup. Our bill was just under $17. I feel like the place is a great value. Also, the place is full of locally made crafts. I fell in love with the work of a potter named David Parris. Two beautiful rice bowls and a tall pitcher now grace my home.
