My girlfriend and I took a stroll through Saltburn woods for the day and started feeling hungry. We decided to go to the tea room, but unfortunately, we left it until the last minute. We arrived just in time to place our order, and the waitress mentioned they had made some delicious vegan biscuits. It's a pity we arrived late and missed out on all the other vegan options that were available earlier. View all feedback.

Many of the choice for vegans, including a vegan bake every day, a vegan egg and vegan cheese.
The staff at this restaurant are extremely friendly and willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. When I inquired about vegan options, I was presented with a choice of either crisps or a homemade raisin biscuit. I opted for the biscuit, which was quite tasty. The availability of choices may vary depending on the time of day, so it is recommended to visit either when the restaurant opens or during lunchtime. For coffee, they offer non-dairy milk (soy), but due to their machine setup, it can only be added to black coffee afterwards, limiting the variety of drinks available. Outdoor seating and takeaway options are available, and the outdoor atmosphere is very calming.

The staff was very lovely and acommodating. There is some vegan ice cream, soy milk and they had a glutenfree vegan macaroon (which I didn‘t try because it didn’t really interest me plus I don‘t want glutenfree stuff, I want real cake). Unfortunately from the delicious looking plentiful cake buffet there was none vegan. Another disappointment was getting the tea in to go cups only. That a) didn‘t fit the victorian theme of the place, and b) is a really unsustainable choice. Updated from previous review on 2022-07-16
