Operated by friendly staff, the menu features a delightful array of hearty pastries, including generous vegan sausage rolls and a variety of vegan pasties, all cooked in vegetable oil—a welcome departure from traditional methods. While indoor seating is unavailable, visitors can enjoy their snacks while taking in the stunning ocean views. Despite the occasional shortage of dairy-free milk options, patrons rave about the flavors and quality, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and tourists alike.
This beachside kiosk is run by friendly staff who are vegan-friendly. They offer a variety of hot veggie and vegan pastries, as well as large vegan sausage rolls. It was a pleasant surprise! Unfortunately, there were no (vegetarian) fries available during our visit in October 2021.
I tried the Thai sweet vegan pasty and vegan sausage rolls from this seaside takeaway spot. Both items were a generous size and had delicious flavors. The staff was also very friendly.
This is the only place in Saltburn where the chips are cooked in vegetable oil instead of meat dripping – a welcome change! The vegan ice cream pasty was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to sit on the beach and enjoy a tasty meal.
However, the waitress told me that the cafe next door, Surfs Up, offered dairy-free milk alternatives. I decided to stop by and get a latte there. Unfortunately, they were out of oat milk when I visited, but the soya latte I got was still delicious.
The location of this restaurant is perfect for a visit to Saltburn, as it is situated on the main promenade, allowing you to enjoy a snack while walking along the beach. The variety of pasties and pastries on display was nicely presented. Unfortunately, there is no indoor seating available. However, the vegan options are clearly marked and the staff are knowledgeable about what is suitable for vegans. One downside was the lack of dairy-free milk during my visit, prompting me to go next door to Surfs-up for vegan options. Despite this, the Mediterranean vegetable pasty I had was delicious and priced at just over £4. They also offer other vegan options like sausage rolls and different types of pastries. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant!
