We decided to eat here just last night and it was really pleasant. It’s a really small Italian restaurant run by an Italian couple. They could not do enough for us and moved the table under the umbrellas to shield us from the bit of rain we experienced. In my own opinion, this was the best pizza that I’ve experienced on the island, however my partner said that there was a little too much tomato sauce, which I do agree. To get a 5* review, they need to look at service, as when we didn’t finish the starter, we were quizzed excessively as to why. The reason was that we didn’t really know what we had ordered. It was beautifully presented and for a cheese eater this would be amazing. We thought we’d ordered cheese fritters. We will visit again.
We were wandering round trying to fing somewhere to eat and stumbled across this place. We had a quick chat with the owner and got ourselves seated outside, though we moved inside when we realised that it was a little on the chilly side. The staff (husband and wife) were extremely attentive, recommended particular dishes to us, and couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy. Out of a group of five four ordered pizzas (all home made) and I ordered a carbonara, as I like to try different carbonaras at different Italians. Michelangelo's carbonara was genuinely the nicest carbonara I've ever had! The staff were constantly checking up on us and having a laugh with us, giving it a really personal feel. And to top it off the price was incredible, I paid €10.40 for an enormous portion of carbonara and a large beer. If I ever find myself back in Maspalomas I will 100% return to Michelangelos Muchos graçias!
We visited this place as an alternative to the Hotel where we were staying next door The staff i believe husband and wife owners) could not have been more helpful They produced bespoke food for the party which was delicious and plentiful Drinks were very reasonable The bill was also a pleasant surprise This place is well worth a visit whilst your here in town Well done all at Michelangelo
You can taste that it's much knowledge and love behind the dishes. Was here with my Italian girlfriend and her pizza was amazing. The homemade dough, the chilli oil, the fresh ruccola with parmesan. Amazing. My pasta with salmon was also perfect. A very nice detail was that the chef came out for a little chat about food and life, you couldreally notice he knows his stuff. Lovely people and lovely food. They deserve to be full all day
