Started with warm old coffee, took a LONG time for the meal to arrive, bun was hard, meat was dry, 4 mushrooms for $1.50 extra charge, asked for didn't get but was charged for green peppers. There was another table of 2 and the service was bad. WHY? I usually like it there, too bad this time

We add... read more The beef dip was excellent! The chicken Ceasar wrap is huge. And they bring an entire carafe of coffee, so no need to wait on the busy waitress; love it! We added $2 for the poutine, unfortunately it was barely lukewarm (but that is an oddity) and I was hoping for cheese curds but they use grated marble cheese instead... that being said, that's pretty standard in these parts (cheese curds is not a realistic expectation out here) and the gravy was delicious! The prices are reasonable, it's very clean, the staff is friendly and I absolutely LOVE the rustic log house!

Second and la... read more Food only 5 out of 10 roast beef looked Like it was warmed in microwave. Fish and chips very soggy. First visit gravy was very good like homemade. Second and last visit gravy tasted like watered down gravy. Waitress spend more time in the back instead of making sure their customers are taken care of. Had to wait for them to come out of the back a few times for coffee etc.

Never would have noticed this place before. Kind of out of the way old timber log building, with great meals and very reasonable prices.
