Service was average. Outdoor seating was super sunny. Beer was decent. Food was expensive for mediocre at best. Portion size was ok. Shiitake pot stickers with sauce tasted like something they got from the freezer section at a grocery store. Burger wasmoist but had no seasoning to it and the lettuce looked bad while flopping off the plate to table surface(removed lettuce beforeeating). Soft crab sandwich was lack luster. It was a large crab, but way too much batter and again nothing had seasoning toit(maybe a beer batter since you are a brewery). Couple bites of the crab tasted fishy. For the price I expected an overallbetter experience. Also, was looking at clothing while there. Unless you are an 11 yo bean poll nothing would fit a person.
The food at Evolution Craft Brewing Co. Public House is far too expensive for the quality you receive. The Crème Brûlée was overly hard, and the custard was too runny. The burgers and fries were just average; I've definitely had better elsewhere. Paying $4 for a small glass of Pepsi—maybe 10 ounces without ice—felt like a rip-off. The portions were very small, and after tipping, we ended up spending $180.00. A quick glance at the receipt confirms this. Although I gave a good tip to our excellent server, many of my dining companions felt the same way. Evolution Craft Brewery simply did not meet our expectations. The decor is warehouse-style, and while there is outdoor seating, it doesn't provide much relief from the heat unless it’s high noon. I would recommend going to Boonies instead, where you'll find natural shade, better food, better prices, and a more pleasant atmosphere.
Evolution Craft Brewing Co. Public House offers fantastic beer and food. We stopped by on our way to the ocean and were really impressed with their selection of beers. They have a great variety, and the flights are a great deal. We sampled a few appetizers and absolutely loved the pretzel served with three dips, especially the sweet onion dip—it was amazing! The restaurant also features a large outdoor space adorned with lights, along with an outdoor dining area. Don't miss out on their menu!
I love Lot 3 beer. However, their quality control is apparently on the rocks. Of the last two cases I've bought, fully 6 of those beers were not capped properly. They were flat and undrinkable.
Had the $23 crab cake sandwich. It was bland at best and had nearly zero crab flavor. Sweet potato fries were actually sweet potato tater tots and not freshly cut wedges. One person had the $28 risotto and it too was quite bland. Overall quite disappointing for a $105 meal for three people. Definitely would not go there again.
