I enjoy visiting the Wilton Garden Centre for a nice walk; it has a lovely atmosphere and is a great spot to sit outside on a warm day with a teacake—truly first-class! However, on colder days when you have to stay indoors, the restaurant has a rather utilitarian vibe, resembling a basic café. We came to the restaurant yesterday afternoon and decided to have a jacket potato with cheese and beans and as my mum said you wouldn 't feed that to a pig and she never complains about anything.The jackets were disgusting black and burnt we couldn 't even cut them.I sent mine back and the one they replaced it with was even worse.I would expect this from a greasy spoon but not a restaurant where usually standards are... Beautiful place with reasonable price-performance ratio. they put tee for two cms in a huge teekanne, which was as refreshing as I have to ask in the regular for extra hot water when most places give them the smallest teekanne. the best speck and cranberry panini was apparently delicious. recommended for a quick lunch.
Love popping in every now and then brought some plants for Christmas displays unfortunatly some if the died off very quickly. Lovely displays of Christmas gifts and decorations and the cafe is lovely
Wide variety of plants, to energize visualize ideas, visited on a very hot Sunday so the shade was particularly welcome, friendly helpful team distinguishes from other garden centres. Thanks
Always a pleasure coming here. Lovely plants (and plenty of gift ideas as well in their shop. Bought this hanging basket today of beautiful fushias for just £7.99..highly recommend!!
