The butternut... read more This charming bakery and breakfast/lunch spot is a hidden gem in Salina. I tried the pastrami sandwich with fresh rye bread, which was delicious. The butternut squash soup also blew me away - it's now my new favorite soup and I wish I could eat it all the time. Don't miss out on this place if you're in the area! It's located less than a block away from Homewood Suites, with a side entrance that could be easily overlooked. But trust me, it's definitely worth a visit!

Had the beet bahn mi and it was excellent! Will be making follow up visits to further explore the menu! Cozy indoor space with maybe a dozen seats. Seating just outside too. Doesn't appear to have a storefront on Santa Fe. Main entrance is off a little alley way. So I'm sure I've walked right by dozens of times. Hours are limited to breakfast and lunch. Outside of sammies, they sell their bread, scones, sweet rolls, etc. Highly recommend you check them out!
