The Crossroads Cafe - Salida

The burger selection is quite intriguing! The flavors are delicious and satisfying. The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant is clean, showcasing an impressive array of Widespread Panic Music Festival posters. I would definitely come back!

The atmosphere is wonderfully down-to-earth, giving off a friendly, small-town vibe. You really feel welcomed from the moment you arrive, and I'll definitely be returning. The dishes aren't overly spicy, yet they're perfectly seasoned. Plus, someone knows how to make coleslaw just right!

I had the pleasure of trying the Cubano special, and it was absolutely delicious! The combination of smoked pork, mustard, pickles, ham, and Swiss cheese was just right, making every bite a delight. My partner ordered the classic burger, which featured a juicy patty that had a fresh, meaty flavor. Both our meals were served with fries, and I must say, they were some of the best fries I've ever tasted—freshly cut, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. Before leaving, I couldn't resist picking up a full rack of pork ribs from Tennessee, which were outstanding with a great balance of smoke and flavor. The owner is an incredibly talented cook and host, truly a rock star in the kitchen! This restaurant is a gem in Salida and absolutely worth a visit.

We found this little restaurant on a trip to Pueblo. We stopped hunger and tiredness. We were welcomed and immediately gave recommendations to the owner. We enjoyed the food and recommend a stopover on your trip through Salida. These are unique burgers and they are fresh and good. The Fritten are also top Notch.

My husband and I stopped here for a quick bite on our way back to Texas, and we were not disappointed! The restaurant is locally sourced, and the burgers were perfectly cooked, juicy and delicious! To add to the experience, we sat on the patio and had a nice visit with who we assume was the owner who was smoking ribs that smelled like they could rival the best in Texas! If you’re hungry, don’t pass this gem by!
