I visit Panera restaurants all over. This one is top notch. The food is fresh. Portions are really good and the employees are super helpful. We brought our dogs so were at an outside table. I had 3 trays to take out. The employee came out from behind the prep area and helped carry the food to our table. Will definitely come again when in the Salem area. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Panera Bread:
every once in awhile I stop in for something real simple; with soup it's always the same old strange dilemma; bowl of soup IS ONLY A HALF BOWL OF SOUP.So, $8.67 for a half a bowl of soup, just seems ridiculous; in fact the only things more strange are that 1.more people don't have a problemand 2. it's not more stupefyingly obvious to management..I feel like I'm eating a bowl of soup designed for kids, but someone for... Soup was ice cold and could tell was old, bread was hard as a rock, couldn’t even bite into it. Didn’t give all the order. Manager was extremely rude when bringing to attention and said my order didn’t exist when I have the receipt.
Just had awful food poisoning from here yesterday. I ordered chicken noodle soup and turkey sandwhich. Just a heads up!

The sandwich was terrible!I got a breakfast sandwich..it was a bacon , egg, and cheese on a asiago bagel. The guy with the beard at the drive through window seemed to be in a bad mood. He was rushing me to pay. As soon as I got my bagel… I noticed it was smushed. The bagel tasted terrible as well it was all undercooked.
I love the food here. Staff was nice. All of the tables were dirty, but I didn't let that ruin my experience. The lemonade is so good!!
