I recently had another fantastic Mark Anthony sub from this place. I typically don't order subs with everything on them, but the balance of veggies to meat was just right. The sandwiches are enormous, and you definitely get your money's worth!
I've been enjoying Rockets since 1985 and I'm a big Marc Anthony fan. Even though I live in West Roxbury, I still make the trip up here a few times a year. I would visit more often if they were open on Sundays (just a suggestion!). It's always wonderful to see Mary. I work at the West Roxbury VA, and whenever a patient mentions they’re from Haverhill, I can’t help but ask, “Where's my Rocket?”
Every time I see Mary, she greets me by name and takes a moment to chat, asking how my daughter and I are doing.
The large Rocket subs are gigantic, almost like they were searching for Red October! They are incredibly big and absolutely delicious!
You will get your money!s worth! The Small size sandwich is a normal/large size actually. The Large is almost 2 ft wide! Order carefully unless you want leftovers. Food is good, service is great. I was a little disappointed ad my meatloaf sandwich had cut up meatballs inside. Not sure if that was an error or the way they do things. Oh well. I’d still back again.
