Famous Anthony's - Salem

My husband is away in Salem for work. Tonight is his first night there. He ate here and had wings and fries. His food was very cold. He said it was the worst $33 he's ever spent on wings and fries. He ate it because you never know what people will do to your food if you complain. Was the food old? Did they give him leftovers that weren't heated up? The food should have been fresh and hot.

The service was excellent. But the food was lacking. I ordered wings and they were still frozen inside. Thankfully they must be precooked. I also had a burger and fries. They weren't bad but nothing special.

Extremely mediocre food with nothing special about it. Onion rings were very small in size and portion. Fries were soft/pale and barely cooked through. Wrap was average and falling apart. I was really hoping to like it more, but I’m disappointed.

I dined at Anthony's on August 20, 2022. The food was mediocre—neither bad nor particularly impressive. The service from the waitress was satisfactory. However, my experience was severely impacted by a loud and disruptive patron who made inappropriate comments regarding individuals with autism, mental illness, and suicidal thoughts. It was troubling that no one addressed this behavior, and the waitress treated the disruptive guest as if it were normal. Because of this incident, my overall experience was ruined, and I won't be returning to Anthony's. I would recommend that anyone looking for a meal consider dining elsewhere.
