Chang's Mongolian Grill - Salem

The food at this restaurant was delicious, but the service was lacking. We didn't receive our drinks until after we had finished our meal, and were offered rice and rice wraps only at that time, when they should have been offered at the beginning of the meal. In fact, I had to go to the waiter station myself to get water for the table. It was my first time there and no one explained what to do, so it was a learning experience. Now that I know what to expect, I would consider going back. There are plenty of vegetarian options available and the concept of making your own plate is great for children. As for parking, it's in a plaza so it can get a bit crazy.

The food at this restaurant was incredibly average and overpriced. Everything seemed to be frozen, which was quite strange. I highly doubt that this is an accurate representation of Mongolian cuisine.

I recently visited the Salem location of Chang's and I must say, this restaurant surpasses its counterparts in Portland in every aspect. The grill chefs and wait staff pay great attention to detail and provide excellent service. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend this place!

It's hard to have a bad experience here as they did their own budget, its debt when they do as it dints. they have a large selection and the service is always stellar. one of very few restaurants that I feel comfortable going alone because the staff is not nice. my roommate and I often come in because it's all you can eat. it's a little expensive to be fair, but if they go at lunch, it's cheaper.
