Boneshakers - Salem

Lovely place. Sat indoors, but the outside was pretty looking. I hadn't been here in over 20 years. Fish sandwich was AMAZING! Everyone else's meal was good as well.

Went there sat. With some friends. Our waiter was fantastic and very attentive. The chef on the other hand did not want to prepare my meal the way I requested. I’m sorry not everyone likes thick juicy meat. I asked for my porkchops to be butterflied and well done and the arrogant chef said he wouldn’t do that. I was served whole porkchops in a plate of juice. The waiter apologized and said the chef wanted me to cut one opened so I did and sent it back. I did then get the butterflies I asked for but still was not well done like I like them. The chef has absolutely no say in how I like my food and needs to get off the throne they think they are on and do what the patron wants. After all if they didn’t have customers they wouldn’t have a job!

Always enjoy the atmosphere and the service is amazing and staff friendly. The food is great and they have a wonderful menu and drink options! Never had a bad dinner yet!

We have ate at this restaurant 3 times over the last few years. The food has always been amazing and the staff has been great. The last 2 times we ate at the bar and the two bar tenders were awesome entertaining. I highly recommend making the drive to Salem Ohio for this restaurant. The pictures I am sharing were from our last visit and a couple of these were on the specials menu. My friend and I both had the Lasagna. Huge portion which I took half of mine home and ate for lunch the next day. My wife had the salmon dinner and also loved it. Our appetizers were shrimp cocktail and another special, the blue fin crab chips dip. Omg this dip was amazing! Not a drop left of that when we left!!! We will be back!!!!! Also, we visited this during the Salem Super Cruise when thousands of people and cars fill the city. Bone Shakers still provided amazing service despite being slammed with business! My only disappointment was my side salad. The portion was fine.... It was just OK. The meal itself is where it's at!
