Atmosphere, decor, and seating is more like fast food than expensive pizzas. It was insanely cold inside. They were out of many alcoholic drinks and you couldn’t pick up the pizza because the toppings would just fall off! Interesting place probablywon’t be back.
Let's talk about the food now! I have a strange habit of flipping over my sandwiches, paninis, and burgers, and it always seems to enhance the flavors. The Italian Stallion panini was outstanding both ways, and the kettle chips were delightfully crunchy. The strawberry frosé cocktail was a refreshing choice on a hot summer day. The dessert board was a hit, with lemon tarts and apricot blondies that impressed us. My friend enjoyed the Mt. Hood panini and a strong blended margarita. I highly recommend checking out this place for a great dining experience.
The atmosphere, decor, and seating feel more like a fast-food joint than a place serving high-end pizzas. It was extremely cold inside. Many alcoholic drinks were unavailable, and the pizza was difficult to pick up without the toppings sliding off. An interesting spot, but I probably won't return.
This restaurant in Salem offers a lovely atmosphere and convenient parking at the rear. I highly recommend the Meatball Al Forno—the meatballs are cooked just right: tender, moist, and full of flavor. The marinara sauce has a delightful kick that complements the meatballs beautifully; I’d even consider trying it on one of their pizzas. I enjoyed my meal with a Zinfandel not usually found on their menu, the Folie 'a Deux from Dry Creek Sonoma, which featured fruity notes and a hint of pepper that paired excellently with the marinara sauce. For dessert, I recommend the Red Dessert Board, which goes wonderfully with the dark chocolate and the Zinfandel. Overall, I’m eager to explore more items from their menu in the future.
The food at this restaurant was disappointing and overpriced. I ordered the meatball sub while my sister chose the Margherita pizza. Unfortunately, my sub was excessively spicy, making it nearly inedible. The server informed me that the cook was trying out a new recipe. They graciously swapped my sub for a pizza, but it was lacking in cheese and didn’t taste good. My sister's pizza was mostly just sauce. Overall, it was not a great experience.
