I usually start with the food description but this time I will start with staff members they are so lovely! Super friendly and helpful. They did not speak English, butter they did their very best to communicate with us and help us, they are stars! So now food really tasty, cheap as well and available during siesta. You just really saved my day, Guys! :

The Roda bar located not far from Bus Station. Salamanca is not a big city center so its easy to find this bar.its a small place less than 10 tables inside. In Summer you can enjoy outdoor tables. you wont regret to have the best tapas specially in Jeta” deep fried cheek meat, chanfaina, torreznos, jamon etc...The staff are friendly and they have very good prices€ 1 -1,80. With €5 is enough for lunch : Its one of our favorite tapas bar in town.

Un bar con buen ambiente, buenos punks y un montón de geta, es espectacular

It always smells good from the outside and it is always full inside. The prices are very reasonable and the food is very authentic. The service from the bar is fast and efficient. Customers were very helpful in suggestions about what to eat. The only thing that prevents this place from getting a 5-star rating is that after several visits the food is consistently on the salty side, but not at the point where you can't eat it. The Jeta is amazing (not too salty), and the Torreznos are mind blowing well. They're huge at first. Then they both crawl and melt at the same time in the touring mouth. I've never eaten them as good as Bar Roda.
