Moulin de Paiou - Sainte-Maxime

Our breakfast here was unforgettable. The croissants were better that ones we had in rather famous places all over France and the coffee strong and good. We bought a baguette for the road and regretted not buying more.. Stop and enjoy if you can!

Excellent 'artisanal ' bread, go for the loaf with raisons and pistacho nuts, delicious. Not so good for cakes though, once paid 20 Euros for a chocolate cake for my daughters birthday, it was so stale we couldn 't eat it. I should have guessed when the assistant took it into the kitchen and dressed it up with icing sugar before she boxed it...she clearly knew it had been 'on the display counter ' for far too long !

We visited this bakery almost everyday for the week we were in Ste Maxime. It is a family owned business and the owner's son was very friendly and gave us some tip around the local area. The bread and desserts are typical french and of very good quality and fairly priced. There are also sitting areas if you want to use Wifi or have a chat. Highly recommended!

Le pain est excellent (et la 10ème baguette est gratuite), l'accueil du gérant est toujours parfait, et avec le sourire! Il y a une large gamme de choix tant au niveau des pains, que des viennoiseries et des en-cas pour le midi. Tout ça pour un prix correct. Je recommande!

La meilleure baguette de sainte maxime prenez une baguette tradition,je la prends bien blanche c'est le top....
