We didn... read more Friendly and helpful staff, we sat in the garden with lots of space (surprising for a Saturday evening) perfect for us two adults and two Labrador dogs. We didn't expect the food to be great, but Le First surpassed our expectations. We had the set menu of 3 courses - all of which were excellent. I had calamari to start which although slightly overdone, the sauce and salad were great. My Husband had the meat platter (charcuterie) which was so good he wouldn't share any! I had the home made chicken stir fry for main and Husband had Cheek of Beef confit which melted in your mouth. Desserts were also fab - ice cream filled profiteroles and tarte du jour - strawberry tart - yum! Very good value for money for set menu. Are planning to go again next week!

The shaded terrace is lovely, away from the noise of the city center, the waitress was delightful, and my salmon tataki was wonderful. There were three of us, and we all agreed on the quality of the food at very reasonable prices. See you soon!
