Le Jardin Provencal - Sainte-Maxime

As you near the restaurant, expectations rise. Setting is really nice and the staff do what they can. Prices are okay, the food however is not. The beef was well done (ordered medium), the fish gritty and not at all fresh. Quite the let down.

Setting is lovely. Staff are lovely. Food is a consistent let down. It’s a lot cheaper than most evening menus in the area but there’s a reason.

A dinner with friends in a surprising place. we have been on a holy maxim for years and we have just known this restaurant. Beautiful setting, terrace reservation on Friday night because it was the "BQ room" meats, fish, crustaceans at will. To digest, a small walk in the greenery around the all lit castle, it is beautiful. We'll go back.
