I use this place a lot, to enjoy a reasonably priced beer a chat with a few of the locals. George, the owner, speaks excellent English and is always very welcoming. Sitting outside you can watch the world go by while you haw a drink or enjoy a meal. View all feedback.
What Adrienne Gerard doesn't like about Le Girondin:
A handy place to soak up the heat at lunchtime on market day when you're on your way to the large carpark, crossing the D936E6. Haven't tried eating there but offers a pretty reasonable selection. View all feedback.
Food and welcome all excellent.. The couple who own it are adorable and make you feel like at home .
Called in for lunch had the plat de jour, quick service good food great music, staff helpful ran after me as I had left my mobile phone. Only drawback is there was extras onto the bill and drinks were not cheap either.
Tired of the drive from Bordeaux and hungry took the second turn off to St Foy Le Grande. Directly opposite the T junction La Girondin. Outside and inside tables very good selection of local foods nice waitress and chef/owner ? Locals eating and drinking there always a good sign. Was very good fluke find but very enjoyable

The restaurant we were going to was shut so we'd remembered having a coffee here before and watching others eat and decided to have lunch. We had omelettes and frites, really tasty and friendly service. We will definitely return if we get chance
