Very friendly place. The beer was good, the place is nice, the service too. The downside No food at all and missing some beer options but was like that in all gaspesie more after the construction vacation seems that they empty the place. But worth the stop and they are having a view in the water there is a street in-front but it is a calm city so you can still enjoy. View all feedback.
What Gonzalo Villalba doesn't like about Microbrasserie Le Malbord:
This is not a place which serves anything but beer. No wine, no food, nothing else. We had reservations and received no indication the place has changed its menu. Big problems as no other food options available. View all feedback.

This should be rated a zero. It is NOT a restaurant. They did take and confirm our reservation though. We were not able to find another restaurant to take us. Very disappointed with this restaurant and with TripAdvisor.
We tried this place after having a lovely walk along the beachfront. Wanted a nice beer and something to eat. We must have waited literally minutes before someone took our order, and the place was only partially full. They had people hanging around...the bar doing nothing. It looked like they had only one person who could take orders, and bring the orders out. Not sure what the other people were in charge of doing. Another couple must have had the same experience because they got up and left after a while. It was incredible watching how inept everyone was. In the end we managed to order some drinks and aperitif. Beer was ok but nothing amazing. The saucisson was very nice, but they served it up with some onions and carrots which were nice too, but you cannot eat as they give you just tiny pieces of toast for a big wooden board of the aperitif. We did not order the main meal as up to now it was a joke to get to this point. Watching them work while waiting was like watching a rat work it’s way through a new maze.
We were looking for a more reasonably priced dinner than what we'd paid the previous couple of nights so walked here. Tried a flight of beers (produced on site of course and was impressed. Even my wife who isn't crazy about beer enjoyed the Food was very good. Mmm. The beet salad was so tasty and tons of smoked salmon on the naan pizza. It's located right across from the St Lawrence so you can walk the pier which seems to be the thing to do in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts!
Excellent beers, as expected in a microbrewery, but it is worths mentioning it. The pub, as well as the production area, are located sea front, which gives the opportunity to taste a good beer while admiring the sunset, if you are there the proper time...of the day. The food is what you can expect from this type of establishment, very decent and in line with a good beer. A strong value, for sure.
