Compared to some of the places we have eaten on the edges of Paris, this grill house has friendly staff and reasonable steaks. The Euro rate makes everything expensive, but if judged in euros against other equivalent locations, the relative value is good. English menus...and friendly staff who help out those with little or no French. If staying in one of the many local hotels, this is an accepatble choice. View all feedback.
What রহিম খান doesn't like about Grill Courtepaille:
we were in a hurry and we were told that short straw had an equal reputation from one institution to another. Not quite, but maybe we were late in the evening. the reception was however nice, the dishes served quickly. but let's admit that the slice of terrine a little light, the sausage plate too important, the correct meats, no more. if you don't find anything better in the restaurants around View all feedback.
We have been using this restaurant for many years on the way to home from South France to Great Britain. we called on Sunday evening on 25 september 2022 and were immediately shown to our table. 25 minutes later, we were asked if we were, like an aperitif, and we ordered our meal at the same time. half an hour before our appetizers and warm wine. the main course came in another twenty minutes before they left our appetizers. the main course was as dry as a bone. my wife had chicken fillet and I had steak hache. a dame on the next table, which celebrated the birthday of her sohne, waited at least half an hour before leaving the desert. that is the first time in our lives that we refused to pay. we only paid for the appetizers and the warm wine. on the way out, we met a very nice French family that gave the restaurant another, as they were disappointed before. when they saw our disappointment, they decided to go elsewhere. we met them on the hill in the bureau where they enjoyed a beautiful meal with excellent friendly service. would give zero stars if possible.
Great meal, my wife and I both had a really delicious fish dish with ratatouille. also children's meals were very valuable. beautiful bottle horse red wine. looked outside. very enjoyed.
A bit amusing, our google translate app named this place the short strohgrill

Stayed in the hotel zone, Saint-Witz and chose the Courtepaille Grill on our second night. Food was average and seemed rather expensive for the quality, especially with the pound low against the euro. We had a carafe of the house red wine for 8 euros... (50cl) which was very cheap quality especially considering you can buy a bottle of gold medal winning red in a supermarket for 2 or 3 euros. Service was ok and premises were clean and well maintained.
