I have to give this place 5 stars. We go every Saturday and every waitress is the best...best, best best! It 's a casual beach bar 2 blocks up from the beach but we don 't really have beach bars here as that 's not how SSI is set up. We have bars near the beach . The menu needs a new start as we don 't have much to choose from and not anything different. Hopefully there will be a new menu soon. The bartender makes great drinks. I 've never not had a great time there.

Absolutely disgusting food and service. Food was awful, soggy and inedible. When the issue was raised with the server, a $2 discount was given and the table was told this is the biggest discount the manager will give . Zero apologies. It 's as if they anticipate complaints because the food is disgusting and the service matches. Avoid at all costs.

We went here because my in-laws said it was one of the best place they've ever eaten. I was rather shocked to see the poor rating. Honestly, we would not usually go to a place with a 3.0 rating but I have to tell you that it is not a 3.0 restaurant. The food is absolutely outstanding. I see most of their poor ratings are because of service and maybe that's a problem during Covid but today we had one of the best meals we've had in a long time. The blackened mahi Ruben, the Grouper finger basket, the Grouper salad, and the shrimp Poboy are all very good. And we could not have had a better waitress. She was sweet, pleasant, and took very good care of this. This place is outstanding and we will definitely be coming back with some friends. Excellent!

Last time we came for only drinks, which were excellent; the location and ambiance make it a great place to have a drink. The sangria is on point! This time we ordered the fish tacos, which were 6/10. Mostly for the fried fish which may or may not been stated. The Greek salad is a regular iceberg lettuce and stuff, plus black olives, saturated in Italian dressing. The food is delicious for being standard and seemingly not fully prepared in house. Overall, the location, drink menu and ambience makes it a great stop if you're spending a day in St. Simons.
