We asked... read more I typically love our local Panera, as the food is always great. However, this evening we arrived an hour before closing and found an employee outside. We asked her if they were still open, since the recorded message on their phone indicated they would be open until 9, and the Google listing confirmed this as well. Unfortunately, she was very rude in her response and told us they were already closed, as if we should have known better. While I’ll continue to visit occasionally, this was my first negative experience, and it was quite disappointing.

The staff seemed more focused on their conversations than on fulfilling the orders properly. When I called to address the missing items in my order, the person who prepared it was preoccupied with chatting instead of reviewing the orders correctly. To make matters worse, she continued talking to another employee while I was trying to pay. I even had to repeat my card information because she kept interrupting me to engage in conversation with someone else.

I suggest bringing a jacket or sweatshirt, as the air conditioning is quite chilly. However, the waitstaff is very friendly, which is definitely a highlight!

Once we sat down we were called back up to the food counter t... read more Not really the Panera experience we've come to expect. The person who took our order took forever. Once we sat down we were called back up to the food counter twice to let us know they were out of various items and offered acceptable substitutions. The mac and cheese the staple my little girl orders each time was cold and she wouldn't eat it. We did heat it up where she then ate. We walked the entire place to find a clean table which to sit and eat, but we ended up having to pick a table which we cleaned ourselves. Most were dirty even though we were only one of two tables of customers. The bathroom was gross enough to where my wife and daughter wouldn't use them and we left after eating and walked over to the gas station next door to utilize their bathroom. Thank God me and the boys just stand to pee, but the men's bathroom was worse than an old truck stop. And after seeing the men's bathroom I can only imagine why my wife wouldn't use theirs. What gives? We were surprised as the outside looks pretty nice.
