Description

**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Flavors and Atmosphere**

Nestled near Fort Leonard Wood, this popular hangout presents a vibrant atmosphere, especially on weekends. Known for its tasty chicken wings and fun events like karaoke and trivia nights, it draws in a lively crowd, often including military personnel. However, the experience can be hit or miss; while the food garners praise, diners have reported inconsistent service and long wait times. The smoky environment, stemming from a shared kitchen with a nearby establishment, detracts from the appeal. For those seeking a casual bite and drinks, arriving early might enhance the experience, but be prepared for occasional crowd chaos.

This brings me to my next issue. From the start, Jasmine seemed more like a prisoner at her job than someone who wanted to be there. Whenever we asked for drinks or anything else, her expression was completely flat, and her responses were lackluster. When she walked away, I found myself wondering if she even heard us properly—an indication of just how disengaged she was with her customers. Maybe it was just an off night for her? In conclusion, I’d recommend heading to Hoppers instead. This place was not great, the customer service was terrible, and the drinks were weak. Edit: I later discovered that Jasmine was working solo, which might explain some of it.

The low rating largely stems from the fact that it's a popular hangout for military personnel, which means there's often a crowd of drunk patrons. Honestly, I'd be rich if I had a dollar for every buzzed soldier I see! On the positive side, the food is tasty; I've always enjoyed their wings. The service is friendly and fairly quick. I recommend going early when it's quieter so you can fully appreciate the atmosphere. If you're looking for something to do over the weekend and you're stuck in Fort Leonard Wood, consider heading down to Springfield.

The chicken wings were fantastic, but the service was quite slow. I waited nearly 40 minutes for my first plate of wings and then another 20 minutes for the second tray.

This place has a really cool atmosphere and theme for a bar but that is where the positive comments end. We were in town for a week and went to get some wings and drinks. The wings were raw in the middle and the wait staff was not interested in apologizing or getting us new wings. The sauces were good and so were the drinks. It was extremely crowded and all of the staff was rude. Do not waste your time going here.
