Workhorse Coffee - Saint Paul

This restaurant has the best coffee, snacks, staff, and atmosphere - simply the best!

This is one of the best coffee shops in the city! The local baristas create and change their special drinks regularly. They have a great selection of tea options and a small food menu. The interior is equipped with brick and subway tiles, and there is a fun menu board in a spacious, open space. The music is always fantastic and the baristas are excellent. I love coming here to study and meet up with my best friends. This place is amazing!

Not bad! More expensive than Los Angeles for an iced latte and a small gluten free muffin, but both were good. 2 lattes and 2 muffins were $22. I had the GF blueberry muffin which is made with corn and it was decent. The cafe itself has a lot of communal style seating. Parking can be a challenge for those who drive, since they don’t have a parking lot, and metered parking is competitive. This is a great place for those who bike/bus, for students or nearby residents or local employees.

Some of the best people work here. And the cookies are to die for.

Their veggie quiche makes me want to come back for breakfast every day of the month! Plus, good coffee, friendly staff, and a chill place to get work done.
