Fantastic burgers, friendly staff, and a really cool atmosphere. Probably one of the cheaper places we found in Minneapolis to get a bite to eat. If you have a family, they have an actual kid's meal and fries are included with the burgers or sandwiches which we didn't find at a lot of other places. View all feedback.
What coach k doesn't like about The Nook:
only one person 's opinion, but it seems to me that one thing you shouldn 't screw up on in the food service business is dietary restrictions. nook has failed us on more than one occasion including tonight. looking forward to several days of painful illness now. please, if your kitchen staff is not going to pay attention to order details, don 't even put gluten-free bun on your menu. just don 't. it is not worth the... If you are looking for a small dive bar with bomb food and cozy seating (I mean... cozy.... find your way here. My #7 Burger was amazing. The cheese may have dropped the back before I took it, but that didn't stop the taste explosion. And the foam cheese lures some of the best I've ever had. Fast service. Delicious food. Huge hairstyles. So many fries. Yum.
Nothing flashy about this place, but if you're looking for flair you're not going to find a good burger. This place is concerned with one thing, and that's excellent burgers. Great atmosphere with unique decor as well. My wife and I loved it
Great corner bar. Minnesota has a few bars/restaurants that serve Juicy Lucy Burger. These are filled burgers with cheese on the inside. The Nook does not claim to have invented the Burger style, but they have some great variations. I had that guy? Big Bite, this is a filled burger with bacon and roast beef with Cheddar cheese! The burger was large, juicy and very full. I've got the handcuffs for the supplement. The Nook is very popular and it can be a long line at times, but is worth waiting.
The absolutely best wings in the Twin Cities! I go to flavors are the Honey BBQ, Buffalo and MN wild dry rub. There is no bad taste on the menu. The homemade frits are excellent and make sure to order a few of the homemade blue cheeses so well. I will continue to go to this small, living and fun neighborhood stack to enjoy the food and great service!
This was my first time in Nook and I was excited to try her Juicy Lucy Burger, as so many people have been struggling about it. It was pretty disappointing. We waited about 40 minutes to get our burgers and we realized (after two bites) that there was no cheese inside and the burger was overcooked (menu says burgers are cooked on medium). We told the server and he apologized and brought us new. New ones needed 20 minutes to arrive. As others mentioned, it was very hot to eat. It reminded me that xiao long baos (Chinese soup dumplings) where you need to be careful, or you will burn your mouth. Overall the taste of the burgers was ok. I tried other Juicy Lucy in other well-known places and prefer the other places vs. No. But the service was great! Our server checked us and was very apologetic about our non-cooked Burger. Most stars are therefore for the server. He dried it. Would I come back? Probably not. Long wait for food ok Burger great service 3 stars.
