I love the food, but it takes forever. I guess they're short staffed and I get that. However I had a friend pay for me and we talked for like 20 minutes. Then my friend left and I waited about 20 more minutes and nothing so I ended up walking out. With no food. I couldn't take it. My friend had paid for me and I told my friend I'd pay her back for the meal. I have a life and I can't wait for food forever! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Pariente Mexican Grill:
Drawn in because of buy 2 get 1 free street taco Tuesday. Discovered it changed to buy 3 get 1 free. Tried 4 different meats. Service was prompt and friendly. Reasonable time for food prep. Tacos were OK. On the high end for their size. Meats seemed on the dry side. Disappointed that I got only one container of a sauce and had no say in what it was. Food was fair to good, but the prices are very high, and service was poor. We received the wrong orders TWICE. Unfortunately, this is just a fast food restaurant with high prices and equally poor service. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
My expectations were greater than actualities. A friend raved about this place so as I was passing through I thought I would try it. Critiques rave of authenticity I have had fabulous Mexican food, however, this missed the boat. After ordering I went to the bathroom to wash my hands to see the margarita special — 2 for 1. Wish I had I known that before ordering. Decided to order one for my husband and I anyway. That was the ultimate disappointment — so syrupy. Tasted like cough syrup with a splash of tequila. Oh well I won’t be here again.
Fabulous fresh authentic food. There is no other Mexican restaurant I would rather go to. Terrific flavors, options and huge portions. Highly recommend to anyone. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
