The St. John Moved - Saint Martinville

St. John's restaurant offers excellent Cajun cuisine, particularly seafood dishes. My partner and I enjoyed the fried alligator appetizer and the bronzed mahi mahi entree, both of which were delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is spacious and well-liked by many patrons. Despite a bit of a wait due to arriving during peak dinner hours (around 7 o'clock), our overall dining experience was wonderful and we look forward to returning.

This is one of my go-to restaurants and it never disappoints. The food is incredible and the staff is fantastic. I would rate the dining experience as a 5 out of 5 for both food and service, with the atmosphere also earning a 5.

I would highly recommend trying the Crab Dinner, Crawfish Bisque, Shrimp Dinner, Fried Alligator, and Seafood Gumbo. There is plenty of parking available, with free parking in the parking lot.

This Louisiana restaurant is truly wonderful! The menu is excellent and the dishes are executed with culinary delight. The server was very engaging and we even got to meet the chef and owner. It was a great experience overall. The service, food, and atmosphere all scored top marks. Dine in for dinner here and expect to spend between $50-100 per person.

Sam is the ideal manager at this restaurant. She warmly welcomed Joanne, a woman at the upperline, even though she was busy with customers. Keith, who works in the open kitchen, is very proud of the dishes he and his team create, and he frequently checks on guests to ensure they are enjoying their meal. Anna, our waitress, was lovely, attentive, and gracious. The food was outstanding. The Sea Dog Gulf Redfish was expertly cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside yet tender and moist inside. The oyster appetizers were a unique and visually appealing offering. I am certain we will be returning to this restaurant.
