Was Retta Bauch at Bon Creole a mag?
Like another reviewer said, if I could give this place 6 stars, it deserves it! My dad and I shared the best and biggest shrimp po'boy we've ever tried. The bread is perfect, the shrimp is fresh and the remoulade brings it all together in blissful bites of pure cajun heaven. Despite being completely full after that po'boy we had to try the roast beef version, as well, which was also spot on. The people of New Iberia... View all feedback.

So glad we stopped for lunch! I had the best cancer pot boy I've ever eaten! It was half a size and it filled my hunger! Deb had the Bratbeef-Po-Junge and they also enjoyed it. We ordered a plate of red beans and rice with sausage to eat later for dinner. That was also wonderful, the sausage had a nice taste and only the right spices. Definitely a must visit when in the area.

My daughter wanted a good gum. Bon Creole is it! I have the hamburger and my dad the Shrimp Poboy. You wouldn't stop eating pics for me! Everything was amazing! If you go to a restaurant known for seafood and you order a hamburger and that is good, then they are definitely something right!

Found on Yelp. Son had Cheeseburger, he said he gave him 5 stars. We had the sausages and chicken gums, delish! I had the cancer pot boy, so good. I have half the size and it was huge. Potato salad was delicious. Fries were good too.

My gumbo was super bland and the balance of rice to the rest of it was off. I helped it out with a generous amount of salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce. My wife had the Shrimp Po-Boy. It is HUGE. Probably 12-14 inches long and super-stuffed (as advertised). Her shrimp was super good and perfectly cooked. The rest of it was just so-so. I like the vibes of the location. There's even a bobcat in the men's restroom. I would try it again though. Worth a visit!
