Riverside Cafe - Saint Marks

Loved watching the boats come in. They have live music ?

I ordered fried oyster dinner. Oysters overcooked, French fries were old, looked and tasted like sitting under the heat lamp too long. I asked for fresh fries and they were okay. Coleslaw horrible, soaked with loose water mayo. I will not be returning to riverside.

Very long wait for food (over an hour) and it wasn't crowded at all. Didn't get onion rings until finished with fish sandwich. Group that arrived 30 minutes after us got their food before we did.

Used to absolutely love Riverside but this last time we ate here was a nightmare. We sat there completely ignored waiting for even our super simple crab dip appetizer for over an hour. People that came in after us who ordered the same things as us were being served way before us. Our waitress tried to blame the kitchen on overlooking our order and other servers taking our food but um no hunnie you're our server you need to be advocating for your tables. Just sounded like an excuse like she forgot to even give the kitchen our order. We're not going to be back for a long time because on top of the over hour wait for even just a scoop of crab dip on lettuce with club crackers the prices were up there as well, which would be easier to deal with if the service was worth it.
