I ordered the butter chicken and appetizer sampler, both of which were delicious. The grape leaves were the best I've ever had and the portion sizes were generous. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.

Kauash, the ow... read more My husband and I took a stay-cation and came to this restaurant after a good friend raved about Kabul Express STL! I was not disappointed at all! Kauash, the owner, makes all the dishes and his customer service was outstanding! He is such a nice man! Great presentation, great concept , and great execution! We ordered 3 dishes to share. We got the Falafel wrap, the butter chicken over rice and the Chicken Schwarma over rice. Desert was a pistachio, rose water ice cream in a sugar cone bowl! The flavors were amazing and dishes, delicious (say that 10 times fast! The only thing I don’t like? I don’t live close enough to eat here everyday!!! I would love to see Kauash do a food truck, expand to a west county location, or somehow share with more people. This restaurant is a secret that should not be kept! We tried a variety of dishes with chicken, beef, rice, and eggplant, all of which were absolutely delicious. The chicken over rice was my personal favorite, as the chicken was flavorful and incredibly tender. The restaurant's spacious dining area exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning more often to enjoy their wonderful food!
