I adore this restaurant! It has a charming, old-world vibe and the service is quick. The food is piping hot and delicious. I would choose this place over Burger King any day. The regular burger here is even better than a Whopper, and did I mention how hot it is? View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sonic Drive-in:
The experience was average. The service was quite slow. Upon reaching the counter, I was quietly told that they were short-staffed. I sympathize. Despite this, I decided to wait in line and order a burger. It took 20 minutes to receive my food. Very nice people. always get chill cheese dog with bbq and grill onions. it was about 745 pm when I came thru. I well say I was a little disappointed when I didnt get a peppermint or a fork but still got my belly full.
Food was okay. Drive thru was very slow. When I got to the ordering speaker, a calm voice informed me that they were short staffed. (It was mother 's day) I get it. I was invested in the line so I stayed and got a burger. It took over 20 minutes. I may go there again some day but if you have a drive thru restaurant, maybe you could place a sign outside that says Short staffed today when you are short staffed. People 's time means something to them even if it doesn 't mean anything to you.
The food was actually very good, but the fact that it was drive-thru only was a bit of a buzz kill. It said something along the lines of due to the recent happenings at this location, we are drive-thru only which was sad. Didn 't ask what had happened there but I 'm sure it wasn 't good if they have to put up a sign that says THAT.
The food still tasted great... but the experience overall was kind of shady. Used the app for the order. The app really sped up the ordering, which was awesome. Then the trouble hit. Ticket was printed at 7:22pm, then at 7:29pm screen told us our food would be brought out by a car hop shortly. Food was delivered at the car window at 7:39pm. Then upon opening one of the burgers, it looked like it had been half eaten, but was likely ripped or something as it was a smaller burger and that must be the way that they make the patties smaller?! By ripping them?! It's already waste anyways, so why not just deliver it with the full patty so the customer doesn't have to think their food had been eaten or dropped or whatever. Overall, the timing and presentation of the order brought this score down.
