The restaurant offers an extensive menu with very reasonable prices. The French fries are seasoned with a delightful seasonal salt. The establishment has a convenient take-out option, and the restrooms were consistently clean. The staff was always friendly and helpful. It's one of my favorite places to have lunch. What User doesn't like about Mr Goody's:
I don't know how it's possible for the cooks to serve me Tom Tom tamales drier then a bone?? They were so stuck to the wrapper...I threw them away and they definitely need to up their Italian beef game. I'm from Chicago I wouldn't call anything on their menu Chicago style. Only thing my family liked was the shish kabob. I ordered multiple food items and for real only thing good was the kabobs. I feel bad I'm sure the... View all feedback.

Owner Andy is just as amazing as his food. 5 stars Andy! The Chicken salad is my fave.
I had a gyro and was recommended the mozzarella sticks by the cashier which they were delicious. Ate them too fast. No pics :p
Just a good old fashioned hole-in-the-wall gyro and more restaurant. Tons of variety always well made. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. It has a real family run feel to it. I take my young daughter there every week after gymnastic practice, as it's her favorite place to eat.
Let me start by saying the food here is delicious, especially for the price, however I have a few MAJOR complaints about service. When I placed my order, I confirmed with hostess that my Gyro Plate came with feta, arrived without feta. Asked for a side of ranch. Missing. Fries were cold as ice while the rest of the food was warm. Also ordered two things of baklava, missing as well. When I called to complain about the order, the hostess explained that it is up to the CUSTOMER to grab the baklava from the fridge themselves. No one told me, when she saw it on the order and took the order herself. Not even set aside or paired with the food, just “you’re supposed to get it yourself.” Yes because I knew that... like I’m going to open the sealed bag and check every single item. Was not about to drive the 30 minutes there-and-back home to pick them up. Her only restitution was continuously saying “I’m sorry about that, you can grab two the next time you come into the store.” Very underwhelming and I felt like she was blaming me for something I was unaware of and didn’t really offer a fair exchange for the multiple problems with my order. Cherry on top—watched the cooks in back stick the rib tips in the microwave. So the ones that ended up in my order were probably microwaved too. Not happy about that. I don’t think I’ll be getting food from here anytime soon, and if you do, make sure you check your order before you leave and don’t forget to grab the Baklava yourself because that’s YOUR JOB even though it’s on your order that they are supposed to prepare for you.
