Lakehouse Restaurant Bar - Saint Joseph

We are so happy to see LakeHouse open. This is a GREAT place to watch the sunset over Lake Michigan. Sit outside on the patio, enjoying your meal with wine or cocktails, or sit inside near a window. This is one of our favorite places to dine. We always feel refreshed leaving here.

First last time here… my boyfriend and I spent a nice day at the beach and were looking forward to finishing our day with a good meal.. this place has potential, very clean, kind service, refreshing drinks, now the food… we got the southwest egg rolls which were delicious ? we ordered the raspberry chicken it came with mashed potatoes.. the potatoes were room temp, and the chicken was super soggy, and not appetizing at all… the server gladly replaced both our meals.. the second time I went with something safe.. a cheeseburger and it was literally a frozen burger patty quickly thrown together and my bf had the fish and chips.. that too we could tell was a frozen meal ? seriously ? We were expecting fresh food, only to be disappointed with something we could’ve prepared ourselves at home! Save yourself the disappointment check out the local eateries in by the beach in St Joe!

We waited over 20 min for service while 2 servers waited on tables next to us I'm not going to beg to be waited on. Food was awful greasy perch. Steak was enhanced with salt water and had fake grill marks . Vegetable of the day swimming in grease no bread dirty silverware . Not a $105 meal .

We didn't get the full meal. None of us got our salad. I pd $24 for a chicken breast. Nothing else. That's ridiculous. The waiter only came back to our table to give us the bill. Then he rembered our refills for the drinks. Water and a club soda. We sat outside and the bees were terrible. They should take the time to spray. I came from out of state and will NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely horrible service. We came with a big party and gave them a heads up before we came. We waited 20 minutes after being seated for drinks. The server was extremely nice although after getting a couple of our plates we asked our bus boy who was running the food out when the rest was coming take in mind we were just waiting for a house salad a ny strip, the other 7 of us were almost done when the other two got there food. The bus boy was extremely rude, unpleasant and very unprofessional to our family. We spent a large amount money here and were extremely disappointed by the rudeness of the staff. We would strongly recommend going to ryebelles over here we wanted to try something new but never again!
