Fredrick Inn Steak House - Saint Joseph

Our experience at this "steak" restaurant was terrible. We were recommended by our hotel and walked into what appeared to be an old house. The soda we ordered seemed to be out of a can, and both appetizers came with canned cheese, which was unappetizing. We decided to cancel our order and leave, expecting an apology and the opportunity to quietly exit. Instead, the manager charged us for a minimal amount of food and drinks, including tortilla chips with cheese whiz and frozen cauliflower, totaling over $22. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant and will inform others about our unpleasant experience. The salad bar lacked variety, with only lettuce, radishes, black olives, and sesame seeds, and it was disappointing to see extra charges for basic items like tomatoes, cheese, and eggs. Furthermore, the meal was supposed to include "amazing rolls" that the town raves about, but we never received them. Overall, the service was lacking, the atmosphere was unimpressive, and the food left much to be desired. Dinner cost per person was $30-50. Food: 1, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 1.

The food, atmosphere, and service were all incredible at this restaurant. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.
