Bracy's Cafe - Saint Joseph
Bracy's Cafe
Description
Nestled in downtown St. Joseph, this family-owned café serves a short, rotating menu of freshly made breakfast and lunch favorites — quiche, soups, sandwiches, and a beloved daily special — plus an irresistible display of handmade cakes and fruit pies baked behind a half-plexiglass window. Friendly, attentive staff, affordable prices, and cozy, art-filled décor make it a go-to for brunch. Limited street parking and tight seating for large parties can be an issue. Note: the longtime café announced its physical location will close on November 25; grab one last pie while you can.

This charming restaurant has a warm atmosphere and a lot of local regulars. Everything is made fresh, and the cinnamon rolls are delightful, especially when paired with their excellent coffee. I returned for a second visit and was really impressed by the amazing quiche! However, I found the drip coffee a bit lackluster this time; it was weak, and it didn't take much cream to alter its color. Despite that, I would happily return just for the food. The dessert counter looked absolutely stunning!
Don't miss your last chance to enjoy a cherished family favorite! This hidden gem is situated in the heart of Downtown St. Joseph. You have until November 25th to indulge in some of the finest homemade pies, breakfast sandwiches, and delightful lunch choices. Everything is made from scratch and is family-owned. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing challenges that restaurants face with indoor dining, they will be closing their physical location. Come and experience the rich history and incredible food while you still have the opportunity. #supportlocal
I don’t quite understand the previous review about the prices. My family of four eats here every weekend we’re in town, and our total usually comes to about $35, including the tip. This place is amazing! They offer delicious homemade food at a fantastic price. You should definitely try the breakfast bowl!
Great place to have brunch or lunch. Food is 1st class good with prices at very affordable prices. You can even watch plates being prepared, cakes and pies made by a see through half plexiglass wall down the hallway. Its all hand made and always fresh. All pies are made with fresh fruit so I've been told. The coconut cream pie caught my attention tho
