In general, everything's good, but last week we went and I took the caesar salad with chicken pane. an improvement would be appreciated in the size of the 3 chicken pieces. It was very good on the other hand.It will not prevent us from returning there because everything is good, and excellent service. There's even a certain singer there. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Resto-pub De La Montagne:
If you like fast food. Pizza with lots of sticky mozzarella, thick crust. it's like pizza 30 yeas ago with no refinement. The atmosphere is fine and the service also. Definitely not for foodies! O.K food at O.K price. View all feedback.
Great company but the view is extraordinary... on top of being well-fed.
We just had dinner with our family at your restaurant.
Great food and really good prices.the portions are generous. the view is fantastic even on a cloudy day
On a road trip between Ottawa and Montreal, our friends chose the charming village of St Joseph du Lac, for a lunch stop. The pub is quaint, though rather dark, and the views were perhaps not as scenic as our friends had thought. Nonetheless, the service was pleasant enough and the menu choices were varied. Portions were generous, so the value was reasonable. A club sandwich was huge and generously filled, though the accompanying fries were a little on the tired side; I thought they may have been cooked earlier and kept warm. Coquilles St Jacques turned out to be scallop free, which wasn't our understanding of the dish. Despite this, it was studded with prawns and fish and was tasty. A pizza ordered by another member of the group looked ok and was said to taste likewise. All in all, a pleasant meal stop but nothing outstanding to make it a must-do.
Good place to go, good food and the service is ok. Only open from 11:00 on
