Being a New England chowder aficionado, I had to try their 'award-winning Maritime seafood chowder ' before heading to the Fundy Trail. It was filled with lobster, shrimp and haddock and was delicious. View all feedback.
What Sofia Kristoffersen doesn't like about Sea Side Take Out:
Portions here were quite small, especially for price, and the food was passable, but not outstanding. If I recall correctly, the calamari was somewhere between $8-10, and I got about $5-6 worth of small calamari rings. The mussels were $10-12, and I got about $6-8 worth of mussels. I really do wish there were more seafood options that weren't deep fried or drowned in some sort of cream sauce. That does get boring aft... View all feedback.
We stopped at the seaside restaurant for lunch. We had the chowder and the lobster rolls, both were excellent. The service was prompt and friendly. Great views of the sea caves.
Great spot before driving the Fundy Trail Parkway. We ordered food to go and picnicked along the beach about an hour further north. While waiting for our food, we saw amazing views of the Sea Caves from the restaurant. The staff was very nice and pointed out things to see and do on our trip. We ordered the chicken tenders and a burger. The potato salad was great!

During a cruise tour, we made a stop at this restaurant to enjoy a walk on the beach. The friendly staff greeted me as I entered the seaside establishment. I ordered the lobster roll, which was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant if you are ever in the area during your tour.
Seven of us went to this restaurant specifically to try their renowned seafood chowder. However, we were disappointed to find that it mainly consisted of fish with limited other seafood, all served in a broth of warm milk that lacked flavor. Having tried different chowders along the New England coast, this one fell short. I would not recommend making a special trip for this particular dining experience.
