The self-checkout machines are extremely frustrating. They are very slow, requiring you to wait for the machine to announce the price and details of each item, as well as for the screen to display a green light before you can place the item in your bag. If you try to scan an item and put it in the bag too quickly, the machine makes you remove the item and wait for an associate to assist you. It was ridiculous. After the second time dealing with this, I just gave up and went to Target to get what I needed.
I’m genuinely frustrated with trying to buy this particular cheese only to find that half of it is moldy. For instance, in this picture, you can see the top piece starting to mold while the bottom one is fine. This is actually one of the mildest cases. I've had to return two of these cheeses because they were sold to me past their expiration date, and I didn’t realize it until I got home and discovered they were fuzzy and blue. I've repeatedly asked Strack's to check their cheese inventory, but they continue to leave moldy options on the shelves. It’s really annoying. They need to manage their stock properly.
They are an acceptable option, but unfortunately, they are the only grocery store in the area. Their prices are quite elevated compared to other alternatives.
So disappointed in your produce. The quality doesn’t match the price at all. I don’t know if it’s only this location but the Sugar Bee apples were rotten on the inside even though the outside looked delicious and the sweet peppers tasted like your refrigerator system needs some maintenance. What is going on with your quality? I hope that this review raises attention to your produce purchasing departments.
There was a miscommunication incident on my family’s end when I needed to pick up a cake for my Grandmother’s 80th birthday. Rather than having to wait hours to get it remade, the bakery team made me new cake in 15 minutes. Everything looked perfect and tasted amazing. Thank you all so much!
