Well, it's been great eating here over the years. Homemade pasta w a veal ragu. Braised short ribs that melt in your mouth. Every appetizer was a winner. I'm going to miss this place. View all feedback.

Had one of the best oasta dishes ever last night. It's so good.
This restaurant is really a great find especially in Suffok county. I would rate the front of the house a five as well as the back of house . I am very critical about restaurant food , staff and service , they all were over the top . I have to say it was a great dining experience start to finish !! Reservation a must !!!! You and your guests will not be disappointed!!! Try it!!!!
This is one of the best restaurants on Long Island. The food is gourmet and the staff is top notch. Also, bring your own wine policy is a money saver. We've been going here for years and the quality is very consistent. There's something for everyone, but If you like fish the chef is the best at preparing a perfect fillet. Reservations recommended.
Went here last night for my husbands birthday. Drove an hour to get there in the rain because we wanted to try the tasting menu. It was well worth it ! You can tell they have a chef who knows what they are doing. It's the real deal. I'm not huge on meat but wanted to be open and not put any restrictions on anything. The meat was absolutely falling apart delicious. The flavors in all the dishes were really well balanced and not over powering. All with unique tastes that left you guessing what was in it. I think they really nail combinations of flavors together that creates a flow as you eat. Our waitress and bus boy were very attentive and friendly. The highlight was my first dessert. A buttermilk cake with caramel, blueberries, raspberry sorbet. I think it may have been the best dessert I've ever had. So the food was phenomenal. As far as the complaints go. I was really not into the music. It didn't match with the elegance of the food and kind of annoyed me during the whole dinner. I grew up in Miller place and go to Orto when I visit there. That's their sister restaurant. I think Orto's ambiance is amazing and romantic and I feel like kitchen a bistro needs to get some of that too. Overall 5 stars cause the food made up for the ambiance.
