It is a tiny oasis from the surrounding neighbourhood. The interior vibes are cosy and welcoming. They roast all their beans in house, which is pretty awesome. Americanos always perfect, but definitely splurge and try some of the amazing chocolate drink options.
Awesome, friendly staff. Yummy coffee and treats. Supports a beautiful cause. My personal recommendation is to try a roasted cocoa bean because i found it mind blowing.
Besides the highest quality of coffee and chocolate from all the right sources, EVR is a community hub where people have a place, can rebuild their lives and feel respected and loved.
I must admit I am not a 'chocolate person '. I do indulge myself here and there, but don 't NEED chocolate on a daily basis.. That being said, I fell in love with East Van Roasters! The truffles are amazing, and their Voyager bar is one of the best things 'chocolate ' I have ever tasted in my life! Organic, fair-trade goodness supporting a great cause and a great neighborhood! You can 't go wrong with this place!
Amazing coffee and delicious chocolates and, even more importantly, a place that's helping people and making the world a better place. I <3 East Van Roasters!
