Dame Tartine St-Hyacinthe

When traveling between the United States and Montreal or Quebec, finding a good place to eat can be tricky. Recently, we made a couple of detours to St-Hyacinthe to have lunch at Dame Tartine, a historic town. The restaurant is affordable, serves delicious food, and offers excellent service. The menu includes crepes, omelettes, sandwiches, and more, along with great coffee. Nearby, there is an upscale market with various vendors where you can pick up pastries or other treats for your journey. Overall, Dame Tartine is a great spot to stop and enjoy a meal while on the road.

I was there for a Sunday brunch, very nice inside the building of old part of town, In front of a market. The choice of dish is complete at a very affortable price.

The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. It was the perfect way to start off our vacation with a great breakfast. The restaurant is kid-friendly, offers good value, and has a diverse menu. Overall, it was a perfect experience!

For New Yorkers looking for crepes while traveling to Quebec, this hidden gem is definitely worth the search. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the ham and mushroom and bacon and onion crepes, which were generously portioned with 2 crepes, syrup, and fresh fruit. The service was excellent and we were lucky to snag a window seat, making for a very pleasant lunch experience. Lovely!
